Perfectly Shaped Sounds

The M50 has over 600 individual sound programs that were created by Korg. These sounds are accurate and precise reproductions of the acoustic instruments they represent while the synthesized sounds have a wide range of different sounds. This keyboard can be an essential tool for any musician, either in studio or live.

Interconnectivity

The M50 works as a plug-in with most recording programs on computers. This means the software can trigger sounds and other parameters on the sythnesizer. The biggest benefit is that the M50's processing power is used and takes away the burden from your computer.

Music Composition

The built in 16 channel sequencer gives you a very powerful tool to make brilliant mixes. And best of all, the touch screen gives you simple and intuitive access to the sophisticated controls and functions available. The M50 also features a 4 way joystick, multifunction knobs and 4 chord triggers that provide a flexible way to play chords. In addition a 10 key numberic pad gives you lightning fast access to the huge database of sounds and combinations.

Enhanced Definition Synthesis

Korg's hardware engine, EDS is the center of the M50. It can allow each voice to have 2 stereo oscillators, 4 filters, 2 amp sections, 5 Low Frequency Oscillators and 5 time-variant Envelope Generators. The EDS gives you fine control on you sound in ways that makes it one of the best additions to a studio a musician can have.

Drum Tones

The M50 features over 1600 drum and percussion samples. In total you can have 80 drum kits with 32 already programmed in.

Combinations

Up to 16 sound programs can be split, layered, stacked and zoned across the instrument. Almost 400 for these combinations are pre-programmed allowing you to start creating right out of the box.
